Experience

Hi my name is Ariel Ruiz and I am a student at the University of New Mexico currently with plans to apply to pharmacy school. Throughout my life I have always excelled in the academic setting. maintaining a 4.0 GPA in high school. I scored a 30 on the ACT,passed AP History and AP Spanish with 4s. Although my degrees are in Psychology and Spanish, I have taken preliminary chemistry, biology and physics classes in my pursuit for grad school. I have many defining, intrinsic characteristics that are fundamental to teaching and tutoring. I am a motivated individual who is highly organized. My attitude is to succeed with step by step goals. More than anything I love helping people understand curriculum that can be difficult, and which is easier to acquire in a one-to-one teaching setting. I have tutored in basic algebra, spanish, psychology and biology; although I feel comfortable helping others understand algebra, statistics, pre-calculus and chemistry.
