Experience
I first tutored college students during my last semester at the University of New Mexico. I tutored students in both English and Philosophy classes on assignment comprehension, brainstorming, pre-writing, thesis development, editing, etc. I am truly passionate about seeing others learn to turn out a truly wonderful piece of writing. I believe anyone can learn to do it. In addition, I have worked with elementary, middle and high school students in various settings. I worked for one semester with APS in the AVID tutor program as well volunteered numerous hours in both kindergarten and first grade classrooms.

Hobbies
I am a stay at home mother of two young children, ages 7 and 4. I am a newbie triathlete and love hiking, reading, playing board games with my kids and gardening. I am patient but firm. I am excited about learning and believe that loving to learn is a skill we must develop. This is a skill I hope to pass on to anyone I am lucky enough to tutor.
