Experience

I have many years of experience working with students of all age ranges individually and in small groups. I love tutoring math because I enjoy helping students learn something that they may initially think is more difficult than it really is. I really focus on helping students improve their learning skills so that they can become self-sufficient in the future. It's great to see students work through learning obstacles and achieve success on things they never thought were possible. Subjects I can tutor include geometry, algebra, biology, chemistry, elementary school math, life sciences, nutrition, public speaking, physical science, grammar, English, writing, pre-algebra, literature, ESL, test preparation, and more. In my free time, I enjoy running, competing in triathlons, ballooning, robotics, and playing the violin.
