Experience

As someone who enjoys learning languages, I understand how difficult it can be to learn languages effectively. I provide a lot of encouragement and support for my students, and I believe that students can make progress in learning through a number of different methodologies, including fun activities. I spent over two decades in Asia, and I recently returned to the US. I studied early childhood development as an undergraduate student, and I earned my masters degree in early childhood as well. As a graduate student, I also studied TESOL, which allowed me to acquire a teaching career in Asia. I've taught in college classrooms, elementary school classrooms, community centers, and many other environments, but I always enjoyed helping students improve their development in the English language. When I have free time, I enjoy doing puzzles, cooking, and spending time with my daughter.
