I have a PhD in psychology from the University of New Mexico, and I've been teaching for six years both individually and in classrooms. I have the experience academically and as a teacher to help students reach their goals. My tutoring specialties are social sciences and biological sciences at any level, statistics, and graduate test prep. I'm excited to help students with whatever it is they need to build confidence and learn material successfully. I utilize a step by step approach to guide students along the path towards understanding. I also provide a laid-back and supportive atmosphere that's focused on my student. I'm looking forward to tutoring algebra, biology, calculus, psychology, elementary and middle school math, physical science, pre-calculus, pre-algebra, statistics, trigonometry, reading, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, essays, test preparation, and more. When I have free time, I like to hang on the beach on Galveston Island, sail, swim, and other activities related to island life. I also enjoy watching television, theorizing, programming, and more.
