Education
Classics/Classical Civilization Major at Colby College (BA) Master of Arts in Humanities at the University of Chicago (MA)
Experience
Tutored college level students in both introductory and advanced levels of Latin and Ancient Greek for three years. Currently teaching introductory Latin to 7-10th graders at a charter school in Moriarty, NM. GRE Verbal score: 710 (Sept. 2010) I believe in introducing these languages as logical systems that can be easily comprehended once one has taken the time to master a few basic rules. Given enough one-on-one time with an individual I feel capable of explaining any topic of Latin or Greek to them.
