I have 11 years of experience teaching elementary school. I love my job, and I love connecting with my students and their families to have a positive effect on the student's life. I bring motivation, support, and inspiration to my students to help them learn, and I hope to have them develop a love of learning as a result. I will do whatever it takes to help my students learn phonics and literacy, reading skills, writing, ESL, literature, and elementary math. Outside of education, I enjoy playing chess tournaments. I utilize my experience with chess strategy and my knowledge of the game to help students learn math and to relate social studies concepts in geography or government.
