I received my undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Mexico. I have extensive experience as a tutor for various companies as well as being a peer tutor at my university. While my primary tutoring experience has been in the field of science, I am able to tutor other subjects equally well.I tutor a variety of courses, including algebra 1, middle school math, anatomy, biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology, physical chemistry, physics, reading, writing, essay writing and editing, literature, biochemistry, IB science courses, physical science, public speaking, honors chemistry, science, English, and math. I am also able to help students enhance their study skills and organizational skills to meet their more general academic goals.My tutoring approach always begins with discovering the learning style of each of my students. This is the single most important thing I do, and it allows me to develop lessons that will make the material more accessible to the student.During my free time, I enjoy gymnastics, baking, swimming, hiking, reading, and being surrounded by nature.
