I studied creative writing with Sterling Watson for my bachelor's degree from Eckerd College. This was a rigorous program that broke down writing by philosophy, sentence structure, and word choice. I've been a journalist and marketer professionally, putting my skills to use. I also love to read, and I've spent 20 years learning about how to become a better writer and how to help others become better writers as well. I'm currently the digital marketing director for the company that focuses on personal development and youth education. I also write for two music websites. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, entrepreneurship, collecting comic books, running, reading detective fiction, and films.
