I'm a tutor that is currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I enjoy spending time with my dog and hiking when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in business administration and Spanish literature from Roanoke College, where I achieved a 3.95 GPA. I'm currently a Latin American Studies master's degree candidate at the University of New Mexico, where I currently hold a 4.0 GPA. As a tutor, I'm able to teach a wide range of subjects, including Spanish, economics, math, and English. Of course, my educational background is just one component of who I am as a tutor. I strive to empower my students by building their confidence in subject areas that they're struggling with. I consider myself to be an innovative teacher who incorporates real-world materials into my lesson plans to keep my tutoring sessions fun and exciting. I know that each student learns and processes materials in different ways, and so I always ensure that I take the needs of the student into account when developing my lesson plans.
