Experience
As an educator for the past 20 years, I have had the privilege to teach from students of various ages, ranging from the pre-K level up through the high school level. I have extensively worked in intervention settings, such as Special Ed and Rtl as well as with the English Language. Over the years, I have taught reading, Spanish, science, math, and test prep. I offer tutoring in a wide range of subjects including algebra, geometry, math of all levels, and SAT and ACT prep. Currently, I own a small business that is still within the field of education. I hold a full International Baccalaureate degree from UC - Davis. I tested in Spanish, anthropology, art, math, English, and biology. I am a student myself as I am furthering my education degree by working on my Master's equivalent. I have been an exchange student to Costa Rica, which helped me learn and perfect the Spanish language, as well as my favorite hobby of salsa dancing. In addition to teaching hundreds of children, I have three of my very own. I am very excited to get to know my future students and get started on a plan that helps meet their educational needs.
