I've been teaching for a long time, and I've discovered how much of a positive influence I can have on a student. I have the power to set students up for life of success. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn skills they can use throughout their lives. I enjoy helping students learn material and develop critical thinking skills so they can apply knowledge independently. I tutor writing, essays, literature, English grammar, ESL, government and politics, history, critical reading, social studies, special education, and test preparation for the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and others. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking, eating good food, traveling, meeting people, experiencing new cultures, and reflection.
